Richard Booms established Booms Stone Company in 1985.
We began specializing in Commercial cut to size projects
working from a small office in Livonia, Michigan.
Since then, the Company has grown into a full service
Marble & Granite contractor with hundreds
of commercial projects completed in Michigan and elsewhere
in North America. Booms Stone Company
employs all in house staff, and subcontracts very little
in order to maintain the highest quality of work. Our
state of the art technology center boasts all electronic
data imaging and drawings, and we are capable of data transmission
throughout the world instantaneously. We believe
we are second to none in the country when in comes to technology
integration between man, machine and communications.
In 1999, Mr. Booms was elected to the Board of Directors
of the Marble
Institute of America and served as President
of the Organization in 2003.
Our Field Superintendent, Dan Nault has been in the Stone
Industry 17 years and has managed such notable Stone projects
as
- The San Francisco Public Library
- Cal Plaza in Los Angeles
- Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia
- Denver Colorado & El Paso Texas International
Airports.
The company boasts over 120 years of combined stone industry
experience. All of our company employees contribute
to a quality oriented work environment where pride and
enjoyment of work is second only to quality of work.
We have long standing relationships with International
